1.2 Changes from version 1.x
Version 1 was released in early 2002 and provided the option to count words based on length, with manual refreshing of the word count. Later in 2002, update release 1.01 fixed minor issues, mostly typographical errors.
Changes from version 1.x include:
- Automatical refresh
- Advanced options provided additional features and work-arounds to problems noticed in the older version
- Font settings to change the font of the text-box
- Counting words that have been selected
- Addition of basic commands (like Copy and Cut) to the menus
- Saving of settings in the Windows Registry
- Comprehensive help system
- New improved user interface
- Hopefully no typos
